What is Volaris baggage policy?
Personal items-

Carry-On baggage allowance for domestic passengers-
- Passengers can take one carry-on luggage with them measuring not more than 22 x 16 x 10 inches.
- The airline prescribed combined personal item and Carry-on luggage weight must not exceed from exceed 22 lbs for basic fare passengers, and for Vuela classic and plus passengers, the combined weight and Carry-on luggage Size must not exceed 44 lbs, and the size is 22 x 16 x 10 in (length x width x height).
Carry-On baggage allowance for international passengers-
- Basic fare passengers can take one personal item, which should be measuring a within of 14 x 18 x 8 in, and by paying the additional fee, they can take one carry-on bag weighing not more than 22 lbs.
- Classic and plus fare can take one personal item with them with the same measurements as basic fare, and the Classic fare passenger can take one carry-on bag that weight and measurements should not exceed 22 lbs in weight and measures of 22 x 16 x 10 in.
- Plus, fare passengers can take two carry-on bags, and their weight should not exceed a total of 22 lbs with maximum measurements of 22 x 16 x 10 in each.
Volaris Checked Baggage policy-
As per the Volaris Checked Baggage Policy, the checked baggage are to be taken in the aircraft cargo hold, and travelers are advised to check their luggage at least 2 hours prior to departure for domestic flights and 3 hours for international flights.
- For domestic and international Vuela plus passengers, one checked bag with a weight of up to 55 lbs and 62 inches total (length + width + height) is allowed for free.
- Passengers will have to pay the fee if they want to take checked bags with them.

Cabin baggage-

Checked baggage-
- Passengers can take up to 5 checked bags as per the Volaris baggage policy, with a weight of no more than 55 lbs and 62 total in (length + width + height) each.
- The overweight baggage should weigh no more than 99 lbs.
- Passengers can take sports items with them in place of an extra baggage fee, and their weight and size should not go beyond 55 lbs and 62 total inches. If the allowed weight and size are exceeded, then you will be asked to pay extra charges.
